I am an Assistant Professor at the AI for Science and Engineering Center, Shenzhen Loop Area Institute (SLAI). Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher at MMLab, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, working with Prof. Wanli Ouyang. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong in 2023, advised by Prof. Jing Liao. I was also a remote visiting Ph.D. student with Prof. Saining Xie at New York University.
My research bridges data-driven intelligence and scientific discovery. I am interested in embodied AI, multimodal learning and multi-scale modeling, robust learning from imperfect 3D and multimodal data, and AI for science. My work has appeared in venues including TPAMI, CVPR, ICCV, and TMI, with papers recognized as ICCV Oral and CVPR Highlight presentations.
I am looking for potential collaborators and students interested in AI research. If you are interested in a Ph.D., research assistant, or internship opportunity, please complete this interest form and send me an email.
